WWCodeManila’s Online Study Group – Go Language | Concurrency In Go

Go Language Online Study Group is happening this June 27, 2020. This session’s topic is about 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆.

This study group is hosted via Zoom. This means you will need to install the Zoom software on your machine. Microphones are required. Webcams are optional. You can watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dtfCsS17q8 to know how to turn your smartphone in a microphone to use in Zoom.

Pre-requisites before joining this session:

1. The Go Programming tools must be installed on you computer. See https://golang.org/doc/install for installation instructions.

2. You must complete the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 section of http://tour.golang.org

3. If you are already part of the Go Study Group Google Classroom, there are additional exercises there that you may want to try out under the topic 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. If you are not yet part of the Google Classroom, you will be given a chance to do so during the upcoming session.

What is a Technical Study Group?

Women Who Code Technical Study Groups are events where women can come together and help each other learn and understand a specific programming language, technology, or anything related to coding or engineering.

We welcome developers of all levels and encourage those with more experience to help out those that are just starting. There’s always at least one mentor or leader present to help you with best practices or to guide you through if you are stuck with a nasty problem! 🙂
